GFWI organise events throughout the year to suit all interests. There are many holidays and outings, meetings and conferences, entertainments or activities and courses to choose from, or you can design your own course from our extensive Menu. Holidays & Outings
Denman Diamond Jubilee
The 60 anniversary our college's opening will be celebrated between 23 and 26 September. There are plenty of special events going on throughout the week, and during each day there'll be chances to sample the new WI Cooker School and the all-new Gloucestershire bedroom.

Ireland
Monday 13 - Sunday 19 October

Arlingham: 5 July at 10:30 Ploughman’s lunch.
English Bicknor: 20 September at 10:30. Ploughman’s lunch.
Avening: 18 October at 10:30. Ploughman’s lunch.
Lechlade: 22 November at 10:30. Ploughman’s lunch.
Walks often go to a ballot for places, so members must book a place and obtain a ticket.

Flood Prevention and Cure
An evening with Severn Trent and The Environment Agency.

The Met Office - Exeter

A rare opportunity to visit the Met Office
(only open to the public 4 days a year).
Have a guided tour, discover the history of the
Met Office and the modern techniques used today.
Afterwards time to visit Exeter
