Anne Course

I live in the countryside in the very north of the county, have seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren (and counting!), enjoy needlecrafts of all kinds, reading, cooking, well-behaved dogs and believe one is never too old to learn something new. I was a health and safety person when I retired, and have spent my working life in admin of one sort or another, having run a mail order office sending musical instruments all over the world (in the days before the internet), been a checkout supervisor at a major supermarket, a proof-reader and sub-editor, a legal clerk, and assistant manageress of a newsagent when decimal coinage came in, all while bringing up four children as a single parent.
